Belarus' National Centre of Legal Information (NCLI) has had its portal up for three years now, providing online legal information data.
At present, the website gives free online access to more than 11,000 current laws, the National register of legal acts, draft laws and a law dictionary. The information is updated every day.
70 per cent of the NCLI website's visitors are the citizens of Belarus. The NCLI, however, has also registered requests from 80 foreign countries as well.
NCLI plans to develop searching facilities and create a directory of Belarus law firms that are present on the internet.
