VELCOM investments plans for 2007

Velcom is planning to invest USD 140 mln into infrastructure development in 2007. According to Mikhail Batranets, Velcom general director, it is planned to build 700 base stations, 30 service centers, and 483 other objects.
Within the framework of State programme of rural development for 2005-2010, VELCOM is palnning to extend its network to 170 agrogorodok's (small towns in rural areas.
By the end of 2007, VELCOM is planning to cover 82% of the territory of Belarus with 95 % of the country's inhabitants.
