Belarusian information products annual export totals up to $100 mln

According to Belarusian prime minister Sergei Sidorski Belarusian information products annual export totals from $50 mln. up to $100 mln. That statement was made by the prime minister during the discussion of draft presidential decree "On High-tech park "Intellectual Belarus" held on August 2, 2005.
It is planned that the high-tech park, occupying 106,8 hectares will be built on the territory of the campus of the Academy of Science - "Aklademgorodok"- in Minsk. Not only enterprises situated on the territory of the campus, but other companies implementing high-tech projects can become residents of Akademgorodok .
Aleksandr Lukashenko commissioned the government to elaborate and complete the draft decree by September, 1, 2005 when the project "Intellectual Belarus" is to be launched.
The first draft decree on the high-tech park was submitted to the President in April, 2005 and was recognized as incomplete at that time.
