Belarus scientific and technical priorities for 2006-2010

In July, Belarusian President has issued a "Decree on priorities of scientific and technical activities for 2006-2010 " #315.
In the sphere of information and telecommunication technologies the priorities are:
- optical and electronic instrument-making industry;
- microelectronics (chips, semi-conductors and other units and mechanisms);
- radio electronics (production of TV sets, communication equipment, computers);
- software.
