MTS and Velcom will be able to use new numbering zones after Mach 15, 2004.
MTS with 550 000 subscribers will have a "+375 295" code in addition to "+375 297" and Velcom with 670 000 will get a "+375 293" code in addition to "+375 296".
Ministry of Information spokesman explained that the GSM -operators were licensed to use new numbering zones because of the increase of the number of their subscribers which had caused the deficit of numbers..
It was announced that the GSM-operator, the winner of coming bidding for the third license, would get a 9-million zone.
