Regulation on e-money transactions adopted in Belarus

National Bank of the Republic of Belarus has adopted Regulation on e-money transactions.
According to the Regulation "e-money" means unit of value that is stored on a particular medium and can be used for electronic payments. Physical, judicial persons, service and trading companies may become holders of electronic money issued by banks. E-money are intended for the purpose of effecting electronic payments of limited amounts of no more than 200 euro.
