Belarussian telecoms authorities have announced the names of six foreign companies who have been invited to bid on contract to deliver GSM standard equipment.
The bidders include Motorola, Alcatel, Siemens, ZTI Huawei and Ericsson. Nokia showed interest in the tender, but later refused to participate in it.
The telecoms official in charge of the tender said that results would be released in two weeks.
